A Consultation/Fitness Assessment is the very first step in the personal training process. In order to design a customized program that most effectively allows you to achieve your goals, we need to know where you are now, and where you want to go in the future.

During the consultation we will discuss your specific goals, lifestyle, exercise experience, health history, motivations, limitations, etc.

The fitness assessment is a valuable tool and evaluates the following:

  • Exercise & Lifestyle History
  • Body Composition (7 Site Skinfold Caliper Test)
  • Girth Measurements
  • Submaximal VO2 Test
  • Musculoskeletal Screen
  • Flexibility Screen

  • Optional Progress Photos

Additional assessments may be needed if you are interested in sport specific training. Assessments may include:

The results of these assessments will give us the information needed to design the most effective and efficient programs to reach your goals as quickly as possible. Monthly assessments allow us to document your progress in a more objective manner and will tell us what modifications need to be made in your training and nutrition programming to ensure continued progress.

At Body By Cory, we train our clients out of a private gym located in Eden Prairie, MN. Maybe you feel self-conscious about working out with a trainer at a health club filled with people who look like they just stepped out of a fitness magazine.

At our gym there are no embarrassing sessions in front of other people because we do not sell memberships. The gym is strictly for personal training only. There is no competing for equipment and you will have the privacy to discuss your wants and needs with your trainer without worrying about others listening in or getting in your way.

You will have your trainer all to yourself with their undivided attention and personalized one on one client care. Our private gym makes it easy to focus 100% on your workouts without the distractions that come along with typical health club settings.
